Underrated character. Yet another female character in the show that is far more interesting than Chloe

The mysterious and alluring Carmilla not only inspired Dracula, but basically created the lesbian vampire trope, that's a legacy that demand respect

57 - Lukana Octo

As much as I love my problematic faves, it doesn't mean I do not apreciate a character with a genuinely good heart. Lukana was kind and caring and wanted everyone to get along. She cared so much about others that the effects of the Duke Venomania's powers on her were weakened because of his apathy towards the well being of the women in his harem. She was also the Voice of reason and I love her prophetic dreams and how everyone Just ignored it, including when she warned Venomania that this path would lead to his destruction, when she was right all along. She's the embodiment of that onion headline "Local Woman Not Heard Again"

56 - Xue Yang (Mo Dao Zu Shi)

Went from the perfect Lukana directly to the very definition of Problematic Fave. But there's something so tragic about his fate, even if he was the Villain of the Yi City Arc and all of that was his fault. But still. I truly believe he loved Xiao Xingchen, but that coudn't make him not a monster, because that was ALL he knew how to be. Xiao Xingchen was the first person to offer him kindness, but it came too late for him. And It wasnt even to him, It was to a nameless stranger, because Xiao Xingchen would never give him kindness after all he did, so the only way to keep the only kindness he ever received was keeping this lie. When the true came out, he still tried to get Xiao Xingchen's empathy. Xue Yang is the ultimate desconstruction of the Redemption Trough Love trope, precisely because he truly loved and that was not enough.

55 - Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond (Steven Universe)

She gets a lot of hate, and I can see why, but she's such a fascinating character. Also, a lot of this hate comes from the fact we get her character growth in the inverter order. We started with this perfect flawless image of this loving dead mom and ideal heroine and slowly learn about her past and flaws. But we know her first as the heroic leader of revolution first, and the imature royal child later, but chronilogically, It was the other way around.

54 - Steven Universe

I just loved this sweet child. Yes, he was awfully annoyng at first. For a while. But he grows.

53 - Stephanie Brown (DC Comics)

The Bat family is my favorite thing in DC, but my girls Stephanie and Cassandra are often neglected as and overlooked, they deserve better. Stephanie was doing so well before the New 52 went to destroy It.

52 - Jason Todd (DC Comics)

I did mention my problematic faves, right? Good. Jason was probably the first one. I also love family angst.

51 - Whitney Frost (Agent Carter)

If you’re a fan of any of the women of Lucifer you might like our Ladies of DCTV 💚Month of Love💚 event coming up. It’s running August 1st to 31st 2021, with sign-ups open now to give people plenty of time to create for it.   The aim is to have at least 1 new post/fanwork each day focused on the ladies of DCTV so that we have a wonderful month full of appreciating them all.  

Anyone who wants to take part can claim a day in August when they commit to posting something centered on any of the ladies of DCTV. Any kind of fanwork is welcomed, including meta, recs lists, or picspam. It doesn’t have to be long - it could be a 100-word drabble, a few icons, or a character appreciation post - basically, anything gen-focused to show your love for the character(s) you pick.

I was immediately reminded of Candy Fletcher from Lucifer-

I mean, come on! The name, the hair, the makeup, even the eyebrows, it’s all so similar!
