was originally going to cut the first image and wait to post until the rest was drawn so i could post it all at once but ive got no sleep and am making bad decisions. also decided to be a little lazier with the art because writing is tiring.

Prologue part 1. Moon 0

'There's no time to think about that!' Finch scolded her brain, its not like she needed an answer until winter anyway, she needed to focus on the now. She could hear the chatter of her clanmates grow closer as she and Sparrow finally reached the place where the clan decided to hold most ceremonys, a small old but sacred tree not too far from the camp but not to close to visit often. Wren flicked his ear as his brother sat next to him turning to look at him with impatience but Sparrow only grins. Finch takes her place beside them, taking the time to look at tree properly as everyone goes quiet for the speech.

The Winds Cradle was'nt the largest tree in the territory but it was the most important one according to the warriors, Finch was'nt sure why at first but seeing it up close she understood. Despite the calm air the tree looked like it was stuck in an consistent wind, its branches looked like they were pointing at something far off in the mountains... She shuttered, the nerves shes been trying to push down since waking up resurfacing. She looked down trying to appear curious about the rocks that surrounded the tree instead even as CanaryStar shifted to stand as they approached.

"Hello" Canary purred "we are all gathered here for the first ceremony in our Clan's history, and I'm honored to lead you through this new experience" Even staring down at her paws Finch could feel as Canary paused to listen to... something. 'Could the Spirits be watching our ceremony?' she supposed they were suppose to even if we aren't an 'official' Clan yet "Wren, Sparrow... HarpySwoop and I watched you grow into fine young cats, you both have leared so much, We've no doubt your ready to get your full name" The brothers raised their heads high, Finch couldn't help but to raise her head as well.

"Wrenpaw, your stealth has aided you in both hunting... and pranking" she chuckled at the apprentices embarrassed face before softening "you have learned how your words can affect others and used this knowledge to comfort and entertain, Im so proud too of trained such a lovely cat. I gift you the name WrenRattle, may it remind you of the power your voice has and the faith your family has in you." The Clan cheered as WrenRattle bowed. CanaryStar waited for everyone to calm before looking to Sparrow.

"Sparrow. Your enthusiasm for even the toughest of training sessions has made you skilled in a variety of areas, with running, fishing and fighting as your best strengths. you always lift everyones spirits with a bright smile reminding us older cats to relax and play awhile, your a bright bundle of energy and I couldn't imagine this Clan without you"

Sparrow was practically vibrating as he struggled to quiet the purrs building in his chest  which only got louder at each word the leader said "I gift you the name SparrowScale, may it remind you of the joy you've brought to others lives" The Clan erupted in sound.

"WrenRattle! SparrowScale!"

"WrenRattle! SparrowScale!"

"WrenRattle! SparrowScale!"

SerpentWing and Harpyswoop were the loudest, they tilted their heads up as if shouting to the Stars themselves. As the two toms stood up to walk over too their guardians Finch remained still and quiet.

Its her turn... as the yells petered out she felt her fur raise along her spine, everyone was looking now, she needed to be brave. 'Just a little longer then the summer celebration will distract everyone, I just need to sit here a little bit longer'.
