“Okay, okay, sorry!” she laughed as she held the boy’s shoulders, trying to get him to calm down. “I’m fine though, see? Totally unharmed. Just a little whiplash. The car’s the thing that should be worried about.” She bit on her lip and shrugged. “I’m probably gonna have to sell some stuff to afford a new one. It’s totaled. Seriously, never drink and drive.” she sternly said to the male. “Never do it. Don’t be stupid like me.”
“Seriously? I’m so thankful you got out alive and well if it’s been wrecked.” Running fingers through his hair, he stares at the other with disbelief in his eyes, mostly because of the fact that she’s still able to laugh at this when it’s not even a smiling matter. He pats her arm, gesturing for her to lie down again. “You should rest for now and worry about selling stuff later. And yeah, note taken-- like I have a car to drive anyway. But-- where did you even crash?”
