“Sometimes I got this weird imagination that even I, myself, don’t understand. And also, don’t worry. I don’t catch things easily at times too, so we’re fair?” She assured the older as she playfully wiggles her brows, letting out a small chuckles afterwards. “Nothing can beat the food you love, really. It’s like your everything.. Your only companion in life, your only hope.” She clutches her chest rather playfully, before pulling in the older one in the shop. “Are you really sure… You can change your decision while it’s still early..”

“How is that fair? You’re still a star!” She chuckles at the comment, snorting in laughter. “Okay, sorry. I just mean it’s okay if we both take a little while to understand stuff. The important thing is that we understand it anyway.” Her lips curved up in a sly smile, lightly nudging the younger’s side. “When you put it like that. Food shall and will forever be, our only companion in life. Our soulmate. Not that I don’t agree. Oh pft. Do you really want me to change my decision? I’m paying, that’s final. I’m feeling extra nice today. I’m even throwing in dessert, let’s just agree to eat until we’re full.”

“oh, thank god.” the words slipped out his mouth so easily now that he was speaking his mother tongue, prominent accent making it clear he’s british. he turned around to face the source of the voice, smiling bright once he spotted the lady. “i- just a little, don’t mind me.” he rubbed the back of his neck and smiled sheepishly. 

“not the words i’d use but okay.” she chuckles, nodding her head the slightest. his smile was contagious so she found herself smiling as well. “if you are, you better tell me where you’re going, i’ll help you out. free of charge.”

[MSG]: I guess my company doesn't interest you any more.
