We live in an age where we are so consumed with social media, how many likes and comments we get, how many friends or followers we have, and how instacool we are perceived to be. We forget about actual face to face acknowledgment and soul connection. Well, guess what? I can see you. Fun fact: I wrote most of this song while working in Massachusetts, and right after: I saw a friggin bear!! Not so fun fact: after finishing writing the song here in DC, I sang it at Metro Center just before someone in an office building across the street decided to end his life by jumping off of the roof. My heart broke that day. It starts with us.
