I need to know your vision for SDMC you don’t understand 👺😭
it opens on an empty hawkins street, it’s a summer morning, it’s silent. she drives me crazy by the fyc plays: then, montage! kids packing their camp bags, moms yelling, a so far faceless steve pulling on his camp staff shirt, reader trips over a rucksack, there’s shots of sprinklers coming to life in backyards, a tired dad fishing his kids toys out a pool. sticky fingers grab pop tarts and parents yell and then reader is climbing into her shitty old car as the music plays from the tinny, staticky radio, the window is down, her hair flies wild and as she drives out of town and sees the hawkins sign, a maroon bmw cuts her off and the music stops and the breaks squeal. she’s breathing hard, frowning, staring out the window. steve harrington drives past with his sunglasses on and a middle finger raised.
the music starts back up louder than before and the title flashes on screen in a retro yellow font.
