On a sunny day in june 2016 Portobello High School invited the public to say goodbye to the old building before the school moved to it's new and modern site. Old students who since became parents or even grand parents filled the building the last time, reciting old stories and padding old schoolmates on the back. The following ten images taken on that open day. Ten different desk of ten different teachers, many still teaching now in the new building on new desks. These are not simply images of the past but rather images of characters in a point of transition.
