This photo is an example of depth of field. It can be seen because the small tower of rocks are in focus, and the foreground and background are blurred out. Depth of field is how much is in focus behind or in front of a subject.
The focal point is the angle of view determined by the lens you use. There are three type wide angle, normal, telephoto. Wide angle are used when you are taking a landscape shot, normal is for portraits, and telephoto is used for taking pictures of animals.Â
