At this point i intentionally head canon Miles and Waylon as incredibly different from fanon cause hell yeah. Waylon has a cane and he's not afraid to hurt you with it, meanwhile Miles is constantly terrified and increasingly incoherent. So basically love wins
what was that ? 🤨 drawing different outlast ships ??? 😟🤭 me ??¿?¿ 😱🤯😵 I would never !!1!!1!1 😤🚫🤬👿‼️🤧
Waylon/miles sketch lol
My favorite OTP's ❤❤❤

OUTLAST | HIGH SCHOOL AU
Miles Upshur and Waylon Park have been best friends and neighbors their whole life. Their parents work for the same company, the Murkoff coporation. They don’t really know what it is is or what they do, just that they make decent money.
Junior year they have to move though, because both their parents have joined a sub section of the company known as Mount Massive Innitiative. They move to Colorado. Miles and Way aren’t really upset about it though, because they get to move to Colorado together. The town of Mt. Massive Homestead is nestled into the side of the Continental Divide. They’ve moved to a nobody town. It’s got a population of maybe 10,000. Conveniently, the school’s name is also Mt. Massive High School and it’s the only one in a 20 mile radius. Because of this, it is decently staffed, and has a decent sized student body.
First day at school, they realize the freshman class is a whopping 300 people, and that the senior class is about 100. The Principal, Richard Trager, comes to greet them at the door. He seems kind of creepy but they both assume that’s just how it’s going to be in this town.
Luckily, the two have some of the same classes, so they don’t have to suddenly spend all their time apart. They meet some very nice sophomores, Blake and Lynn, who are very into conspiracy theories and cryptids. They have their friend Jessica as well, who’s a quiet freshman. Miles and Way decide she seems nice enough, though she’s definitely seen some shit.
Blake and Lynn warn them about Eddie. He’s the school bully, and a raging homophobe. They say that he probably gets it from his dad, who abuses him when he gets home, but no one really knows. Sometimes Trager puts a stop to it but other times he lets it slide.
Blake and Lynn say that his dad used to work for the abandoned asylum way back in the hills, and that he probably saw some shit there that messed him up pretty badly. They think the place is haunted but they’re not certain.
Another notable personality at the school is Chris Walker. He walks down the hallways and Miles can sense that he hates being looked at. Unfortunately, he’s an enormous dude. He has to be a super senior, right? The dude is 6 feet tall, and BUILT. Lynn tells him that in the past few years he’s packed on and lost weight at a crazy rate. Every month he looks different. He’s also wearing a letterman jacket, and around his neck Way spots a keychain.
Blake tells them that Walker is Trager’s right hand man in running the place. He’s the ‘hired’ security. As far as everyone knows tho, he was held back twice Freshman year. Everyone generally stays away from him. He’s half the authority around here.
Blake also tells him about another student: William Hope. He’s a senior and he’s lived in the town his entire life. They talk about he lives in one of the five trailers in the tiny trailer park at the edge of town with his mother. They grew up with him and the insist that he used to be one of the sweetest people in their class, until about Freshman year, when he started ditching class. Now he looks deeply tired all the time, and is sullen and meek. Lynn tells Mile’s he’s like a ghost of his former self. No one really knows why either. His mother, who used to be especially white trash, seems to be doing better.
When Miles’ goes to the bathroom in third period (to take a break from his History teachers personality (her name is Marta and she’s NUTS)), he sees who he can only assume to be William. Miles can tell if he’s skinny or lean, but he’s wearing a black button up and dark jeans. His hair is disheveled, and he’s just sitting in the stairwell by himself, reading what looks to be a journal. Miles wouldn’t ever say it aloud, but he seems kinda hot- in a tired and sad way.
[THERE IS A LOT MORE, including plot along the lines of the original game, but I will type it up later.]
Miles x Walrider!Billy, Waylon x Miles, Miles x Eddie, Eddie x Chris ensues.
