i keep bombarding you with asks but i can't stop thinking about the way you write angst because it's just so good dare i say especially in comparison to a lot of other stuff i've seen in the fic scene. it's handled in a really nice, subtle way that isn't really in your face, but that makes it SO much more devastating and it drives me so crazy <3 <3
at the end of the day, i write because i want to read a good story with characters i love. i want layers and layers of history and emotion, i want to dissect conversations and motifs, i want to see relationships that i care about. grief is a very persistent theme in the kirby series, and i think if youāre gonna focus on it you have to go all in. it is so fun to get buried in the charactersā lives as you flesh them out and explore them, especially when things are changing as a result of that grief.
i wonāt get super into it cause spoilers but like. meta knight for example in the thing iām working on. sure, i include more direct flashbacks with more raw emotion than before, but iām still very particular with what i do and donāt show. i want to show how these events affected him immediately after in the flashbacks, as well as some time after in the present. if your entire life is suddenly ripped away from you, there are serious consequences on your psyche. fiction is literally the perfect scenario to dig into someoneās brain as much as you please and itās great.
anyway. your gsa is messed up and strange and they are very fun to work with
