Marrow's End was, by its local townspeople, referred to as the edge of the world. Situated on a lonesome peninsula, with only the tall pine trees and the song of the sea to keep it company, there was not much to do except wallow in one's own thoughts. The year of 1987 passed just like any other for most ─ but somewhere between the waves that crush against shore and the howl of the wind, two stories lay quietly as they wait to be told.
