About 3 years ago, I was introduced to Homestuck by a friend, and I was hooked ever since. I love the comic, and I love the characters....but the fanbase makes me want to vomit at times.ESPECIALLY the feminist/sjw side of the fandom. Like, for fucks sake, how does a comic that goes out of its way to piss people off attract so many snowflakes to it calling themselves "fans?"So many tumblr pages and posts about how "problematic" Homestuck is from people claiming to be fans."Homestuck is filled with problematic imagery, and Andrew Hussie is a homophobic, transphobic, racism, sexist bigot."Look at their page, and it's nothing but Homestuck imagery.Why the fuck are you even calling yourself a fan if every aspect of what you are a fan of offends you? This year, during March, there were posts on top of posts calling March Eridan "transphobic".  The calendar came out 3 years ago, and you choose NOW to be offended?  Were you in a coma for the past few years and just woke up?  My buddy Bluemagus talks about March Eridan better than I could have, so here's some links to his talking points. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YF7-IZBePqQ But I think it's funny that people try to defend why they find it humorous "WHY DO YOU FIND MARCH ERIDAN FUNNY?  IT TRIGGERS ME!" "Um...uh...because...the...skirt...looks...funny...?" Cut the shit.  You find it funny because it's a dude in a dress. Another ridiculous outcry I remember was seeing posts about how Aradia describing sexual reproduction as "heterosexual" was problematic."this is trans/queerphobic because it strictly uses the term heterosexual."Yeah, sorry kids, when a dick goes into a vagina and a baby pops out it's heterosexual. That's basic fucking biology.  It doesn't matter what you identify as or how many headmates you have up there blowing each other, when you stick your diddly-do in their hoo-haa and create a demon spawn, that's known as heterosexual reproduction.  Speaking of hypersensitive crybabies that do more harm than good, let's talk about Kankri. The second he got introduced, the snowflakes got offended at his existence, calling it a "blatant strawman".They then proceeded to act and talk exactly like him everywhere else.Fucking priceless. The jokes write themselves. Look, it's one thing to point out flaws with something you like.  Everything is going to have flaws, no matter how good it is.  That's normal. But it is a different matter entire to outright hate every single aspect of it.Look at blogs like calloutstuck.HOMESTUCK IS ABLEIST TRASH AND HUSSIE IS A RACIST SCUMBAG Then stop reading it holy shit. I also love it when they claim "We're not trying to tell Hussie what to do with his own comic, we're just trying to educate him on some of the problematic aspects of it."......you just did.
