Snorting in amusement as Karkat paced around him, Moira remained settled calmly in his column-- not even bothering to turn his head and follow the mutant’s footsteps. He could see him anyway, his psionics thrumming in the air and crawling across the floors, up the walls and trickling to the ceiling. He didn’t need cameras to see this room, and he certainly didn’t need to twist around for Karkat’s comfort.
"As amusing as you are, that’s not what this is about.” He corrected, a lazy smirk playing across his lips. “You can’t kill me; you’re too soft and I wouldn’t allow it.” He paused for a moment, considering, before he spoke up again-- this time twisting around to peer directly at Karkat’s face, thin lips peeling back into a fang-filled grin, almost ferocious if it hadn’t been playful. “This is a training excersise, for the both of us. You, so you stop eviscerating the limited stock of battle dummies we have, and me, so I can practice fending off attackers while I’m plugged in and they’re too close to lock out.”
