#calling late

A friend of mine called me a couple a minutes ago, I didn't answer the phone, He had all day to call me and He chooses to call me at midnight. He probably would have said the same things that he has been telling me for last 2 or 3 weeks, that He enjoyed his retirement and that He could stay home all day and He stayed home not doing any thing especially with the bad weather that we are having in Quebec city (snow storm we expect to get 12 inches of snow).
