To be fair, Liam was REALLY good as an opener in September. Didn’t work today. But I’m not sure any of our starters would’ve fared better.

Maybe we can convince the A’s to do a Sounds gear trade-in once they decide on their new affiliate

HE SHOULD BE SAYING THAT. HE SHOULD BE SENDING A LETTER TO GLEYBER TORRES SAYING “congrats on being a Yankee, otherwise you wouldn’t be an all star because I’m better.” He should send a picture of his butt to every player who didn’t vote for him. But seriously, he’d be crazy if he didn’t know that he SHOULD be an all star and as little respect as the A’s get, I was STILL surprised he wasn’t chosen immediately. No humility needed.

I’m watching it and forcing my mom to watch �� she said it’s too early in the year to be focused on baseball. I said this is their spotlight day! It’s the most they’ll talk about the A’s all year! MLB Network is certainly better than other places in terms of giving the a’s attention but it’s still rare to see them talk about the a’s for more than a minute or two, other than this yearly spotlight

Idk if you saw the quotes from after the game but I feel like Canha will take a knee with him in the future. He said he wanted to show his support but didn’t want to seem disingenuous. I think he wanted maxwell to get a chance to show that this is his decision first. Wouldn’t be surprised if Canha knelt with him tomorrow tho
