Kevin raised his eyebrow at the question. He wished she was more specific, she could be talking about anything. Did she mean dad? It wasn’t like dad beat him or anything, but he did sometimes fuck with him, like making him trip or slamming on the breaks too rough so he hit his head. Still, he didn’t mean anything by it. He wasn’t going to rat him out and risk being taken from his parents.
It was also possible she meant Cutie Pie. Of course, who would’ve reported that? Vic was the only one who knew, and he probably would have told Kevin before going and doing something like that...Did she mean Mr. Vaughn, his math teacher, who would sometimes smack Kevin’s fingers with a ruler when he talked in class, or got one too many problems wrong on the blackboard. Or maybe it was Mrs. Price, his English teacher with a habit of pulling on Kevin’s hair instead of simply asking him to look up from his book. She had also recently asked Kevin for a favour in exchange for an A. He did tell Bolo this. Would he have told a cop? If it was any of these people, Kevin would love to see them taken down. But he had no way of knowing.
