His income wouldn’t be as good -> less stability and it would have taken the Moretti’s longer to escape poverty

Klein’s love of food -> with the nighthawk’s income he could splurge on small “luxuries” like lard to cook delicious meals

Finding a way home -> Klein would have had no support, no clues and he wouldn’t have found Roselle’s notes so soon

Perhaps Azik would have reached out to Klein since he noticed something was different about Klein, but I feel like Azik would have chosen to observe than outright initiate contact like that.

A what if LoM collabed with Sanrio idea!

When choosing Sanrio characters for Klein & Leonard (the characters in this post) I wanted not only for their appearances to match but also personality traits. This is also why I have only done Klein and Leonards…it’s very time consuming.

Klein & Chococat

Both black cats with large eyes

Chococat can pick up information via his four whiskers kind of links to Klein’s Seer abilities to divine information.

Both love sweets

Chococat has a hobby of stargazing and cf has linked stargazing in lom to longing for home

Chococat is logical, thoughtful and intuitive and I think this matches Klein and his cautious approach to situations.

Leonard & Pochacco

Red hoddie can link to the Red Gloves

Leonard is also often dog/wolf coded (although he is also associated with bunnies due to a pun)

Pochacco is clumsy, curious and athletic matching Leonard’s stumble when he first drank the Sleepless potion (he also skids to a stop in a few scenes in vol. 1). The athletic part obviously matches the enhance physical abilities of the Sleepless pathway.
