It's more concept for CJ's design, I had fun coloring him (Fun fact, I based him off my own cat) but if I ever draw him again, I might not color him unless I simplify it more (which I don't want to do cuz he's too beautiful for that type of massacre) Or I sit my ass down and put more effort into staying still and finishing it instead of starting something else.

I do love when people make Calico Jack from Octonauts an actual Calico cat, because that implies that he's queer; since only female cats can be Calico with a few rare cases being intersex. So, most people imply Calico Jack is either a trans man, intersex, or both.
Y'know, it's an interesting little permutation that both Jack and Anne/Mary find it ridiculous/unbelievable/embarrassing that Ed and Stede have not actually had sex. Jack pushes Stede to admit whether they're "buggering each other" and Anne/Mary take their reticence to discuss their sex life as proof that they've not had sex. All three seem surprised or disgusted that Stede and Ed's relationship obviously does have an emotional component, yet not a physical one.
The lack of casual sex alongside the emotional connection angers and even threatens all three of the "regular" pirates (and Izzy - he is angrier at the thought of Ed crying over Stede than at the thought of Ed and Stede having sex).
Sexuality is permissible as long as it's emotionally unattached - and emotional attachment without sex is treated by the antagonists as embarrassing and ridiculous.
