21. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?

There’s this girl I work with who does nice things for people all the time, but the more time I spend around her I’ve noticed that people don’t really do nice things for her very often and so I wanted to make sure she knew how lovely she is and brought her some candy and stuff to work. Haha. I think it’s good to be nice to everyone but you should be especially nice to people who you know always go out of their way to help others and ask for nothing in return—those are a rare breed of people

22.Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?

Never loved at all because it would hurt a whole lot less. 

23.If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?

To be content with who I am.

35. What’s your favorite time of day for writing?    

I love to write later in the day, ‘cause it allows you time for thoughts and ideas to percolate and then, when you sit down to write, you feel like you’re brimming over and excited to write. (One summer when I was in college and I had a job where I didn’t have to be there till late morning, so I got into the habit of writing 11-1 at night and that was really nice.)

Important note: I almost never write late in the day, because I’m tired by the evening, or I have plans, or I just want to chill out without thinking, “shit, I have to write my words now”. But in an ideal world where I didn’t have to deal with trifles of living, I’d write in the evening. ;)

36. Do you listen to music when you write?

NO. I can’t have any noise when I’m writing, which is kind of a bummer.

37. What’s your oldest WIP? 

*checks WIPs folder* …Okay, so there’s a bunch of stuff from 2011/12. o__O

There’s an Aria/Ezra (Pretty Little Liars) story, which is all about them having sex for the first time and Ezra feeling really guilty about it? And it’s super-pretentious and contains references to Sir Philip Sidney, because apparently I thought that Ezra’s jam was Elizabethan courtly love? (I’m guessing I’ll never finish this, since I don’t have watch this show anymore.)

There’s a Robb/Catelyn (Game of Thrones) story that I wrote with no knowledge of the canon at all, and it’s really just a lot of purple prose and “incest doesn’t count if it happens during wartime”.
