“A-ha!” Vanellope suddenly jumped up, pointing excitedly at him. “You admitted it! We are friends!” “What? No I didn-” He paused, horrified, as he all too late realized his slip of the tongue. “Wait. No. No, that is not what I mea-–!” “Nuh-uh, no take-backs!” She started glitching and dancing around the room, chanting in a sing-song voice, “We’re frie-ends! We’re frie-ends! We’re frie-ends!” With an irate groan, King Candy slumped back against the bedding, talons covering his face. “I regret everything. Send me back to the code shredder.”  “Sorry, big guy. Can’t escape that easily.” Ralph snickered at him. “You’re stuck with us now!”

Anyways, one more chapter to go after this one!!! Now that I can finally elaborate without spoiling that Turbo survived lol, it's basically just going to be a compilation of slice-of-life stuff and everybody adjusting to their new "normal", so this chapter is more like the official conclusion to the main conflict, and the next chapter will just be chill stuff, mostly! :D It's kind of long though, so will probably take me a while to finish. I also might add more chapters in the future solely being slice-of-life just for funsies, as I have a couple ideas for other scenes that could be fun, but I'll mark it as complete on Chapter 23 and just add on other chapters if I end up feeling so inclined, lol. ANYWAYS, THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT, YOU GUYS POWERED ME THROUGH THIS WHOLE FIC GFDHFJKLNKL

Everyone is going through it and Ralph thought group therapy might be a good idea. After all Bad-Anon worked for him so it’s worth a shot, right? Felix agrees and offers to be a therapist because it’s just listening to others and help finding coping mechanisms for their problems. Sounds easy enough. They set up the room and manage to find a chair big enough for Candy (somehow) and try it out

The sudden movement had Calhoun put on high alert too, and her hand instinctively fell to the gun in her holster, though she managed to regain conscious control of her movements before making the mistake of aiming it at him. Instead, she raised up both hands, as though to signal she came in peace.  “Didn’t mean to startle you. You weren’t responding when I called.” She said to him, then gestured to the stack of heal kits she’d brought on the hoverboard behind her. “I’m Sergeant Calhoun. Vanellope told you I’d be coming, didn’t she?” ‘Tammy’, he quickly realized. While it was with great reluctance, King Candy managed to force himself to settle down, lying back in the water, though kept cautious eyes locked onto the soldier’s every movement. She moved the heal kits closer to him, making a point of keeping her demeanour mild and non-threatening, though it looked very ill-practiced on her. While it could be his rattled nerves setting him off again, Candy could swear there was some level of animosity bubbling just underneath her surface, barely contained only due to Vanellope’s insistence.  “I brought you some healing items from my cabinet.” She said, eyeing the bug’s multitude of wounds for a brief moment, “Hopefully these will be enough, but I can always get more, if need be.”

Please note that this fic is in no way connected to Kill Switch. I’m reusing Cy-bug Sinistar as a (very temporary this time) villain, and there will probably be some similar vibes in how the characters develop their friendships, but the stories themselves have absolutely no narrative connection to each other. This is a different WIR fic starting from scratch.
