Today I'm sharing more fantastical nonsense poetry in the vein of yesterday's Edward Lear, but this time something a bit more modern. Calef Brown's "Polkabats and Octopus Slacks" (1998) is a brilliantly colourful, over-the-top collection that covers everything from high- wire traffic jams to funny smells. His illustrations are as expressive as the fabulous vocabulary that he uses. So much fun!
