Before he could wonder if his prayer reached Faro, a hand curled around his neck and tilted his face up. Warm lips brushed against his own, more delicate than either of them had ever been in the past. Faro's kiss ushered Sasha to a soft and honeyed demise, as he realised with a startling clarity that he would love to die in his God's arms.
