han didn’t have that force thing--he couldn’t read the man’s thoughts, couldn’t feel shit-- but he was wise enough to see someone upset-- or, hiding as much. han had been like that-- spent plenty a night in a cantina trying to act like everything was fine. 

difference was han was usually at least a few drinks in at this point. 

sliding next to the man, he ordered a drink for the two, watching him for a moment. “so-- what’s got you down kid-- was it some being that broke up with ya?” 

     the knight hadn’t expected to meet any of the padawan’s he’d known during his time at the temple again. the jedi race had been practically eradicated. the fact that he’d met ahsoka was surprise enough-- so to sense a familiar presence from before was-- certainly a surprise. 

a welcome one. 

moving towards the familiar presence, a smile gently grew on the man’s face, a hand moving to rest on his shoulder. “cal-- cal kestis?” he asked, chuckling some, still somewhat stunned. “how the hell are you here?”

learning off cal’s existence should not have been as surprising for the nightsister as it was. perhaps it was the uneasiness of this all-- the unlikelihood off then both being pulled for whatever reason-- but it didn’t stop the overwhelming joy merrin had felt.

it didn’t match the feeling of seeing him though. the closet being she’d connected with since her sisters, it filled a void she had become used to being full--

“cal kestis-- “ she approached him with a small smile, though, hand paused outreached slightly as she felt a difference, a cold one, perhaps, overwhelming him. something unfamiliar to merrin’s memory of him. 

regardless, the nightsister carefully continued the gesture, a hand reaching to carefully take his hand, “you’re not an easy man to find, i hope you know that.”

If there was one thing Bobbi didn’t like about Summer, it was the inevitable sunburn she’d have after spending more than twenty minutes outside. When she had been a young girl in sunny southern California, she’d never really had to deal with major sunburns since her mother wouldn’t let her go outside without slathering her in the strongest sunscreen one could buy. Unfortunately, in a post outbreak world, sunscreen was much harder to come by, something that Bobbi was all too aware of as she felt her skin continue to bake as she sought refuge in the shade.

“I swear, I think I don’t think we’re going to need any lights after dark- I think I’ll be glowing enough to light the damn town.”
