In one of Limbo’s many courtyards, the faint sound of metal thumping against the grass could be heard from behind one of the walls. It didn’t take long before a small yellow machine, similar to a v-model, appeared from behind the wall, freezing up on sight. They stepped back, immediatly going into a defense position with their left arm (made up of a singular, large blade) set in front of them. However, they did not initiate combat.

As he stumbles into the square, he realizes with quiet surprise that he's somehow managed to find one of the last corners of this quite literally godforsaken place that hasn't been completely ransacked by its transients. Mostly intact pillars line the walls and walkways at regular intervals, punctuated by plastic flowerbeds and unlit sconces. From one of the plaza's corners, a miraculously functioning speaker plays artificial birdsong. Caliel takes a moment to listen, closing his eyes just long enough to completely miss the canary-yellow machine emerging from the wall opposite him. When he comes to, they lock eyes. Caliel tenses. "Spear," he calls, calmly.
