So, your ship still flies around in my brain all the time. It is still the universe I go to when I'm too anxious or sad to sleep, or when I want to tell myself things that I need to hear.

It would begin a short time after the end of the Gravitas. Less than a year, but long enough that everyone has settled into life on Calcia. Decimus and Caliban are flying the Gravitas and having epic bro times together. Rhett and Link are flying the Calamitasi as a pleasure yacht, taking people on vacations. Sporting events on Deimos. Freeze night parties on Callisto. They are as in love as ever. Link has finished a rough draft of the script for "Moss Creatures of Titan" and it's time to turn it into a show. The nanites are working well, but they aren't magic or perfect, and there is a constant push and pull between days where he feels well and days where he is plagued by headaches, no energy, stomach problems, etc, and one very specific problem he will have to grapple with where he is unsure if he is facing the side affects of nanites in his brain, or if there are more mystical/supernatural origins.

A good portion of the plot would focus on Marcus and Caliban and themes of choosing the identity and life you want, and being true to it even when entire societies or powerful people want you to be something else. Plus, Caliban will need to charge into danger to rescue Regulus from a mafia boss on Phobos where there will be a kick ass fight scene that my boxing coach is excited to help me choreograph.

I'm bringing Avacyn (Cassandra's girlfriend) into the story. She is a dreamy, free-spirited Kamaran painter, and still very traumatized over the loss of Cass. Lots of opportunities for them all to delve into grief and loss, healing and forgiveness, and how hard it can be to move on in life.

In trying to milk this new life for all it's worth, Feleeza may be pushing herself too hard and needs a chance to see that self worth isn't to be found in the accomplishments of the future that seem light years away, or the memories of what she used to be, but in loving who she is right now, and maybe accepting that someone else might love her back.

It's going to need to annoyingly jump backwards and forwards in time a lot. I require an unnecessary amount of flashback sequences so Philo can be alive and adorable. He and Caliban will steal Marcus' ship and traipse around the solar system together floating among stars and talking about deep things.

So, the gang still has some battles to fight, stories to tell, and sexy times for everybody! What it does lack is an overarching plot to tie all the pieces together, but it may fly one day.
