As Alaina ran down the street while being chased by a myriad of cop cars, the only thought that registered on her mind was how good that bagel was. The newest member of Briarwood had woken up at 4:00, jittery, bored, and unable to slip back into slumber. So she decided to engage in the one activity she considered the most challenging, yet fun of all: stealing. Alaina has been quite the thief in India, and now she was ready to test her skills on the next level: the USA. She quickly pulled on some shorts and a lacy top, shoved her tools into her pockets, put on some gloves, and headed for the local, extravagant mall - which was soon to be her next victim. First things first: breakfast. The fun loving freshman took a few minutes and quickly slipped into the most expensive cafe she could find, quickly grabbing a bagel that looked practically mouth watering and making herself a ridiculously expensive copy by following the employee directions. Alaina was about to leave, but the glint of something exceptionally shiny caught her eye just by the exit: a diamond necklace from Tiffany and Co. She wanted that necklace. She needed it. The glowing silver chain smoothly slipping between her fingers, each jewel glimmering like a radiant star...how could she resist? It was a matter of a few minutes, since this store had one very big loophole in their security. However, just as the necklace landed in her hands, Alaina's ears picked up on one very distinct sound that was piercing the hazy silence of Malibu in the morning: police lights. The young thief didn't waste any more time: immediately starting to eat the bagel, she took off towards the campus, chugging as much coffee as she could in between bites. Thank God she had stayed in shape; if she was caught, she had practically no money to bail herself out yet. Alaina made her way to the football field, scrambling over the closed gate that blocked her path in a matter of seconds. She jumped down onto the dark red track while still facing the gate, and turned around just as she ran into someone else. Alaina immediately steadied herself, and it didn't take her long to realize that she had run into a girl. Not just any girl - a super hot girl! In any other situation, Alaina would have flirted like hell with the young beauty, but her current circumstances called for a different course of action. The freshman roughly thrust the priceless necklace into the other girl's hands, then put her lips next to the other girl's ear and whispered fervently, "Run. The weight room behind the track. RUN!" And just before she took off in the opposite direction to meet the girl there, Alaina couldn't help but shoot her a wink first. After all, romance usually came about in the most unusual of places.
