Man people are being wayyy too harsh about The Madalorian and Grogu movie. It just felt like an offshoot of the same kind of silly bullshit that was common in season 1 (the best season imo) and it was great.
The Mandalorian show was never supposed to take itself serious as it did and I'm so glad they went the silly/hunt of the week route for the movie to round out the series. Im just sad this is the final installment for the 2 of them

Since the Beforus ancestors have been revealed, I've been having this thought surrounding about how the Beforan trolls' affected the shaping of Alternia and how the Beta trolls are shaped by it. It also puts into perspective on how the Alternian trolls would've been if they were to be in charge of their own society, as well as how they're a lot more kinder than any other trolls that lived on their planet? Despite them wanting you to think otherwise?
The Beforan trolls' ideal selves are made real once their scratch have been initiated and Doc Scratch made them true while keeping a lot of their traits as we know.
Vriska grew up using violence and needing to have this tough front at all times in order to survive. The only figure that she could genuinely look up to is Mindfang, a notorious criminal of Alternia who did shit for the hell of it. Aranea poses to be incredibly kind and wants to help others, even as far as being inspired by Lamplady Swansong... Although, she desires to be something more, somebody a lot more thrilling and free. Mindfang represents somebody that's a lot more unfiltered, somebody that's actually relevant to a story and a legend. Vriska would've been someone that could be taking care of other people and
Eridan grew up thinking that she has to conform to societal norms and its caste system, while also carrying the back breaking responsibility of keeping a giant monster at bay that could easily wipe out their whole race with one single glub. She claims to be proud of her status as a higherblood but its very clear that she doesn't genuinely think that at all and is rather playing this character that's a lot more acceptable by others. Cronus is her total opposite, ironically, he too is being performative, so that he can gain attention from others by being progressive, hiding the fact that he's a bigot and taking pride of his status. Him as Orphaner Dualscar, he's been allowed to embrace his status and be a total bootlicker of the class-caste system, even adorning himself with gold without having to hide it. He also most likely now freely expresses his dislike of lusii in opposition of Coolscar.

I admit that I haven't read the comic for a while and have forgotten a lot of the Serkets' characters for quite some time, even though I do love them the same amount.
