Aborted Declaration of Love: How long did it take for you to finally confess to your F/O? How did it go? Were there several attempts, or was it just The One? 

Just the one, although it was a pretty slow road to get there. It was a bit awkward after Ariem kissed Caesar and eventually Caesar realized Ari wasn’t really gunna come out and say anything about it. It was actually sort of an argument because Caesar is bad at his feelings and Ari’s inexperienced but you know what they say; kiss and make up.

“Will you just give a straight answer!? Did that kiss mean anything or not?”

“Caesar… Of course it did.”

😚 What was your first kiss with your FO(s) like?  How did you and your FO(s) react?

It was spur of the moment. It was about a year and a couple of months change since Caesar’s recovery from the fight with Wamuu and everyone (Caesar, Ariem, Joseph, Suzi, Lisa Lisa) is getting together to celebrate his birthday. 

So, it’s the day before and they’re planning on going to some fancier places and Ari’s Strategically Wrapped Long Strip Of Fabric With Addition Of Stylish Cloak isn’t really gunna cut it with the dress code. Caesar decides to take Ariem out to find some more suitable clothing. Flash forward a couple of hours, they found some nice suits and return back to their shared living space. Ariem wants to say thanks and just sort of instinctually leans in to give Caesar a kiss. 

There’s a quite literal spark (of hamon, whoops) and while that surprises Ari he doesn’t really think much of the kiss past apologizing for startling Caesar. Caesar on the other hand decided to opt out of a few hours of sleep to think about all the feelings he hadn’t realized he was having.

💖 Things are really awkward at first. It’s too be expected when your families have both sort of swore to destroy one another but your enemy who had the perfect chance to kill you/let you die instead chose to save your life. Lots of begrudging patient/persistent caretaker vibes early on

💖 Caesar likes to braid flowers into Ariem’s hair and thinks it’s cute to see how intensely red Ari’s face gets over something so simple

💖 Ariem likes to steal Caesar’s clothes because they smell like him but forgets that he has like a full foot of height on his boyfriend so nothing fits quite the right way

💖 Caesar once tried to get Ariem to lean down so he could kiss him but Ari got confused and picked Caesar up instead
