Geranium bronze butterfly by sylvester_k The geranium bronze (Cacyreus marshalli) is a small butterfly with a wingspan of 15–23 mm for males and 18–27 mm for females. It is native to South Africa, but has been introduced to Mediterranean Europe. There, it has spread as a pest of cultivated Pelargonium geraniums, which also originate in South Africa. This one was flying around close to some geranium plants, probably looking to lay eggs. http://ift.tt/2hcO64x
