CC!Swatch u r so beautiful....
The weather is beautiful. Why don’t you take a walk, my dear.
Finally got a painting done for Cable Coils, iiiiits Elnina!
Tornadoes are a big thing in CC, they’re one of the biggest environmental threats and a pretty well sized thematic piece, these tornados jumping the unopened darkness is especially horrifying because they figured that it would stay in just the Cyber City fields and Paleo-Cyber City. But whoops, they’re coming straight for the refugee camps in basically all but TV World
Timelapse below
First seen with Tenna, she exists as a hallucination built off of Tenna's memories and desires. The first thing about her is just how warm and comforting her presence is. How perfect she looks.
Everything about her draws Tenna into this fantasy where they host at the Dreemurrs, where they're still in love, where Spamton can reassure Tenna and keep her happy and comfortable
Digi is a sort of fake persona created by Neo in order to keep Tenna oblivious and happy, she looks like a very pristine version of Spamton in her bigshot era, glamorized based on Tenna's view of her in her memories. Digi is very agreeable and doting, yet in control. She is constantly reassuring Tenna deeper into a mindset of helplessness, obliviousness, and euphoria to keep her from realizing the damages shes doing to everyone The one time the allusion entirely shatters is when she hugs Kris as close as she can, accidentally breaking one of their ribs, their arm, and leaving a deep gash from her claws into their skin. Purely accidentally, unaware of their struggling to get away, unaware even Kris wasn't a very small child that would *need* that total body support and wrapping around them. But that blood on her hand and claws caused Tenna to freeze up because the allusion wasn't able to replace the blood with anything, giving her a small glimpse of reality.
She'd end up letting go, dazed and terrified, giving the crew enough time to escape before she found comfort in Digi's lies and reality twisting and delusions.
Hehhe, funny thing about Digi. Her tail is very specific for a reason. Drongos are birds that mimic other birds to steal for food, True Spamton, the Spamton trapped inside Neo, has a similar tail, but notably *not* a drongos. "They feed on insects and small birds, which they catch in flight or on the ground. Some species are accomplished mimics and have a variety of alarm calls, to which other birds and animals often respond. They are known to utter fake alarm calls that scare other animals off food, which the drongo then claims." -Wikipedia on Drongos as a species
She's nothing more than a mimicry of the real spamton.
I love how all the different Spamton’s in cable coils are so. Behaviorally different
Digi is the most glamorized version of her, pristine and perfect based on Tenna’s perception
Her personality is comforting and warm although dominant and deeply manipulative
Neo is what Spamton desired the most out of herself, someone confident and in total control and freed of pressures and terror. But once it gains consciousness, it is fueled by that pampering and promises Spamton gave it, but wrecked with grief and despair when it realized all it’ll be is a stepping stone for Spamton so its furious and taking everything further than Spamton ever imagined it could because it’s just aware of its power. And True Spamton is still as normal in the games but now terrified and exhausted as Neo had leeched all of her energy and will
She thought she could control Neo or the situation but everything got worse and worse and she lost more and more power, until she turned into nothing but what she would have used Neo for
Neo REVELS in what all it’s done to the worlds and how the infected worship it
Funnily enough it wouldn’t even have been enough long term for Neo to have the entire world infected, eventually it would have grown bored and anxious as a god
When you have it all, what comes next?
Spamton never wanted to have EVERYTHING she just wanted to have relief and payback for the hell she went through, but she never wanted them to die or anything to the extremes that Neo had gone, but it doesn’t know that
Spamton wanted revenge for her life but accidentally birthed a sentient creature, told it it would be a god of freedom and push all her fantasies onto it, and treated it as a puppet just as she was treated
Neo is imo the most tragic thing within CC, even when it’s defeated all it does is become what Spamton was gonna do to it anyways just under someone stronger who can keep the thing muzzled and subdued

The nearlyyyy 2K ppl on TikTok convinced me to try and post my Deltarune au here !!
Tenna is one of the most important people to the infection in Cable Coils. She runs TV World nearly 24/7, hosting new adverts and infomercials from the infected Addisons to infect others or sermons for Neo. With the natural draw to TV the infected people have, she instantly gains what's nearly a cult to watching her.
The first infected being Mr. Ant Tenna of TV World.
Tenna follows a green string to the Z-room, Spamton's room, she hasn't been here in ages.
There she finds an ever warming and inviting, glowing, advertisement. Spamton, rather, her before her downfall, sat invitingly. She held a letter, sealed closed with a heart. "How would you like Family? Home? Safety? And eternal peace?"
Spamton looked just as divine as all those years prior. Tenna, wanting to fix everything, to go back to how things were, touches it and reaches to the letter.
After her infection, she's shoved into delusion and fantasy to keep her oblivious and euphoric, held by Digital Spamton keeping her calm and at peace in the world. She mistakes everything she does to be for the Dreemurrs or Spamton, not fully understanding how dangerous and devastating her actions are as she continues to spread the infection to other cyber darkners.
The infection - symptoms
uncanny or unnatural smiles
dazed or confused mindsets
difficulty verbalizing thoughts
slowed, hyper, and/or twitchy/shakey speech and voices
overwhelmingly touchy or cuddly. Often paired with possessive tendencies towards items or people (may display hoarding tendencies)
heightened energy, even when at brinks of exhaustion or physical harm
intense aggression when desires are not met
euphoria
disconnected speech (may say things unrelated to what they were saying prior)
heightened body temp
trembling, body twitches, seizures, spasms
draw towards technology, especially communication based ones (i.e TV, telephones, etc)
There's a few symptons that Tenna has that none of the others do because of how fargone she was, these aren't checked for diagnosis but are a factor brought on by the virus.
drooling
frequent blood from orifices (mouth, under nails, vents, between the metal plating on her body, etc)
animalistic levels of aggression (growling, snarling, biting)
hyperventilating
vomiting
dissociation
hallucinations
frequent electrical surges
deranged or otherwise psychotic behavior
sensory seeking to points of putting herself in physical danger or self mutilation
talking to seemingly nobody (although later is confirmed to be communicating with "Spamton”/Neo)
Art is by @l1ttlem1ssy !!!
Swatch attempts to imitate Chalk’s supposed “future sight” through painting, creating abstract and intentionally cryptic works meant to resemble prophetic art. Most of the paintings are vague, simplistic, or symbolic enough that people can project meaning onto them afterward. Swatch presents these works very seriously, treating them as proof of insight and importance within the Mansions of Kings. Marigold absolutely despises this. Unlike Swatch, Marigold takes pride in having genuinely known Chalk personally before everything collapsed. He frequently reminds others that Chalk had spoken about the Neo project long before disappearing from the Addisons entirely, including openly threatening to build it during arguments and breakdowns. Because of this, Marigold sees Swatch’s behavior as performative opportunism rather than genuine understanding. The two argue constantly over status and importance within the mansion. Swatch believes their role as Neo’s painter and interpreter gives them significance, while Marigold insists he understands Chalk, Neo, and the mansion better than anyone else there. Much of their conflict boils down to both of them desperately wanting recognition and proximity to something they believe is divine or historically important.
It is believed, Swatch may have harbored feelings for Queen previously, however he has not given much word on his current feelings. Shutting down verbally when asked.
Digital "Digi" Spam/Chalk
First seen alongside Tenna, Digi exists as a hallucination/persona constructed from Tenna’s memories, desires, and Neo’s manipulation. She appears as an idealized version of Chalk during her “bigshot” era: pristine, glamorous, warm, and impossibly comforting. Everything about her is designed to pull Tenna into a fantasy where things are still safe and familiar, where they still host together at the Dreemurrs’, where they are still in love, and where Digi can keep Tenna calm, cared for, and emotionally dependent. Digi’s role is essentially to keep Tenna oblivious. She is agreeable, affectionate, and constantly reassuring, but always subtly in control of the situation. Rather than openly restraining Tenna, she pushes her deeper into helplessness, comfort, euphoria, and denial so she won’t fully process the harm being done around her. Digi is not actually Chalk. She is a mimic created by Neo using Tenna’s memories and fantasies of Chalk as a template. Because of that, she resembles a perfected version of her rather than the real person. Chalk in Cable Coils has grey eyes, sometimes mixed with pink and yellow, while Digi’s bright green eyes directly tie her to Neo’s influence. Her tail is also intentionally symbolic. Digi’s tail resembles a drongo, a bird known for mimicking the alarm calls of other animals in order to manipulate them and steal food. Chalk’s tail is visually similar, but notably *not* a drongo. Digi is fundamentally an imitation built to manipulate and comfort Tenna through false familiarity. The biggest crack in the illusion happens when Tenna hugs Kris. She wraps around them far too tightly, accidentally breaking a rib, injuring their arm, and cutting deeply into their skin with her claws. She genuinely does not realize she is hurting them. In her distorted perception, Kris registers more like a very small child that needs to be fully held and protected. The illusion fails because the blood cannot be fully hidden or rewritten by Digi’s reality distortion. Seeing it on Tenna’s hands and claws forces her to briefly recognize that something is horribly wrong. Tenna lets go in confusion and panic, giving Kris and the others enough time to escape before Tenna retreats back into Digi’s reassurances and altered reality. Toward the end of Digi’s existence, as Tenna slowly begins recognizing reality again, Digi herself starts developing small traces of individuality and self-awareness. At first it appears in tiny, almost meaningless actions, like folding Kris’s laundry or tidying things without being prompted. These actions are strange because the fantasy world itself is artificial. If clothes were dirty, reality could simply be rewritten so they never were. And even within Tenna’s idealized fantasy, someone like Toriel or Asgore would normally handle those domestic tasks, not Digi. But Digi keeps doing them anyway, without purpose or manipulation attached. Her behavior gradually becomes sloppier and more emotional. She starts showing genuine affection toward Tenna rather than calculated reassurance. She hesitates more. Thinks longer. Her once-perfect appearance begins subtly breaking apart, most notably when one of her green eyes shifts into a mismatched pinkish-yellowish color. Digi is not actually Neo, and not actually Chalk either. She is a copy built from memories, fantasies, and manipulation that accidentally started becoming a person.
