Gosh, this is OLD, but I still lomve how it came out

i was going to say ‘make sappho proud’ until i remembered the duckverse has its own lesbian goddess.

So I’ve watched enough Darkwing Duck to love Morgana and ship her with Beakley, but not enough to do this properly, so I just went with Cabeakley

Who said “I love you first”

Cabrera

Beakley was leaving the house in somewhat of a hurry, grabbing some things and rushing towards the door when Cabrera called her back, “Bentina! You’ve forgotten something!”

Bentina turns around, “Hmm?”

Cabrera grins and gives her a kiss on the cheek, “I love you”

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background

Cabrera

Beakley doesn’t like having loved ones as her background in case her enemies get hold of her phone, but Cabrera is constantly changing her background because she keeps talking cute pictures of her loved ones.

Her current background is of when Beakley came over to the Cabrera household for the night, and along with Fenton they watched an old movie.

Fenton, having been working non stop at the lab and staying up all night patrolling the streets as Gizmoduck, managed to fall asleep on Beakley’s shoulder, and Gloria got a picture before Beakley could stop her.

Beakley and Fenton spent the next few weeks desperately trying to delete the photo incase anyone else saw it, but when they finally got a hold of it they couldn’t bring themselves to, not because they liked it or anything, no way - why would they like it? It wasn’t as if it was cute or anything, but M’ma would probably be mad if they deleted it so they might as well leave it, for her sake, obviously.

She likes to leave little messages in the bathroom in the manor that Beakley usually gets ready in. Love hearts and smiley faces, and reminders that she loves her.

Beakley says she’s acting like a teenager, but she secretly likes them

Who buys the other cheesy gifts

Depends what you classify as cheesy

Cabrera will buy boxes of chocolate and cards and random things that remind her of her partner, and Beakley will get her swords with her name engraved on it and she’ll somehow manage to get a whole new model of gun named after her, so they’ve both got their own cheesy gifts

Who initiated the first kiss

They were sitting on the couch in the manor watching some soap opera that Cabrera insisted they had to watch, when Cabrera suddenly remembered that she’d got a present for her.

She’d had her close her eyes whilst she scampered off to her car, and when she told her to open her eyes again, she handed her her own grappling hook, the one that she’d broken several weeks ago, all fixed.

“...Y-you fixed it...?”

“Weeeelll you said that you hadn’t had a chance to get it fixed yet so I- mmph!’

And Beakley just snogs her

Who kisses the other awake in the morning

They both do, but in different ways.

Beakley is an early riser, so she wakes her up with a gentle kiss on the forehead, and coaxes her awake if she’s not in the mood. Sometimes she’ll pick her up bridal style and set her down gently on the ground of Gloria’s feeling particularly stubborn. She always has her clothes laid out for her too, because Cabrera is not a morning person

But every now and then Cabrera will be up before Beakley, or Beakley will sleep in and it’ll be up to Cabrera to do the waking up.

She wakes her with a gentle kiss on the forehead, just so she knows that she’s not being assassinated by a fowl Agent, and then she goes in for the kill.

She jumps on her and plants kisses all over her face until she’s forced to fight back and they’ve fallen on the floor in a pile of tired laughter.

They both agree that Beakley’s method is much more welcome in the mornings.

Who starts tickle fights

Cabrera (again)

She’ll start tickle fights with anyone, Fenton’s grown accustomed to it, and even goes as far as warning Beakley that M’ma will find out if she’s ticklish and she will destroy her.

And that’s a problem because as it turns out, Beakley is very ticklish.

She didn’t know until Gloria took her by surprise one day, because no one would dare even touch the feared Agent 22 let alone start a tickle fight.

Except M’ma Cabrera, because she always wins

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower

Cabrera (jeez she’s on a winning streak)

She does it mainly because she knows it’ll turn Beakley into a blushing mess. She’ll just open up the shower curtain and go “Mind if I join you?” With this huge grin on her face, and Beakley will have a panic attack.

The first time she did it she really took Beakley by surprise and she ended up punching her in the face, so now she always announces her presence in the bathroom before doing it

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day with work at lunch?

Beakley

She sometimes shows up at Cabreras precinct with a packed lunch full of all Cabrera’s favourite foods, or sometimes she’ll stop and get a takeaway on the way there, it depends how last minute the decision is.

The first time she showed up a police officer fainted because “ohmygoditsAgent22shessocool”, and another time a civilian fainted because “ohmygoditsScroogeMcDuckssister”

But now everyone their is used to her visits, and one of the officers even asked her if she’d bring him some lunch as well, only to get a very stern glare and a raised eyebrow as response

Who was nervous and shy on the first date

They both were

Cabrera was nervous because of just how badly she wanted things to go well, she had everything planned and made the biggest romantic gestures possible because she just knew that this woman was the one, that maybe finally, for the first time since her husband’s death, she could love someone just as she’d loved him

Beakley is nervous because she hasn’t been on a date in years, and what if she screws up and fives this amazing, energetic and beautiful woman away? What if they get attacked by fowl agents and Cabrera dies? What if Black Heron returns and kills them both? What if Scrooge shows up and starts being overprotective like he is whenever anyone in the family gets into a relationship?

So they’re both terrified, but they didn’t have to be, because aside from getting kidnapped by the beagle boys and having to fight them off one by one, things actually went quite well.

Who kills/takes out the spiders

They both do

Cabrera takes them outside carefully, and makes sure to put them somewhere they won’t get stepped on or caught by a predator.

Beakley just fucking murders them and then Cabrera gets really dramatic about it

Who loudly proclaims their love when drunk

Both

Cabrera does it when she’s sober anyway, but when she’s drunk she’ll stand on a table and scream about how much she loves her girlfriend and “hEY LOOK AT HER ISN’T SHE HOT, I’VE KISSED HER”

Beakley doesn’t really yell about it, but she will tell everyone about the fact that they go out -

“Can I get you anything M-“

“Not a girlfriend, I’ve got one, she’s over there, isn’t she amazing?”

“Would you like something to dr-“
