thank you so much! coral & bone was created as a personal challenge for many reasons: i wanted to see how quickly I could get it done, and I think I’m doing pretty good on that. tomorrow, it’ll be one month since I posted the first chapter, and I’m halfway done with the fic already! Also, I wanted to see if I could write a more lighthearted story. After a very challenging college semester, I needed to rebuild the emotional stamina it takes to write EWOATT because I hold that fic to a very high standard. Plus, EWOATT’s last arc is coming up and it is very intense, so I needed to mentally prepare myself for that as well. Long story short, I’m enjoying Coral and Bone so very much and I’m glad you are as well!
I love the intricacies and thought you put into your mermaid guide. It is such an mystical culture you have given life to. The amount of effort you put into your fic's history is even done with such care.
