My enemy, the cabbage looper moth. These migratory bugs lay their eggs on cabbage and similarly related garden plants in the Mustard family, #Brassicaceae. Upon hatching, the caterpillars gorge themselves on the plants’ leaves, leaving tons of holes or loops. The adults sure a beautiful, though, aren’t they? I looked at the jar and #theverysneakychrysalis looked green again, so I picked up the jar and to look from below and found this! It's actually a lot prettier and much bigger than I expected. How long before we can release this #cabbagelooper? Kinda neat that it merged on my and @draxthedestroyer's anniversary.

#theverycreepychrysalis has gone from lime to very dark brown overnight. I took a pic from the bottom as well because it's hard to make it out from the top. It was also twitching a bit this morning. The moth's a comin'. I hope Charlie gets to see it emerge. #cabbagelooper
