oh and 8 & 11 for Oreamnos :] I did not look at the names you put and see she was an option,
8. Whatâs one weird personal headcanon you have for the character thatâs not addressed or that you havenât found a way to share yet?
I donât know if Iâve brought this up or not because I donât have a good memory but. Because of the way Oreamnos talks he often uses gestures to elaborate on points they werenât able to precisely communicate through words alone and will sometimes slip into clopping their hooves excitedly or in frustration if his point does not come across, instead of.... talking. They get so focused on trying to enhance communication with gestures there are moments of forgetting the words he CAN say.
11. Who or what was your inspiration when creating this character? How does it show? This can be visual, backstory, personality, anything.
Well, you see, my DM said âI donât know how a warforged would fit into this worldâ and I said â:]â and hard comitted to coming up with a warforged character that fit in the world. I donât remember most things, as usual, but the another major source of inspiration was golems (WotC dni) and a lot of work w the DM went in to figuring out how to do that well, and now I think both me and the DM (insane for me to talk like the DM is not the one who sent in these questions) are very :]

Hewwo logan >:)c from the dnd ask meme, 3, 6, 37, and 45 for Taliesin
I, uh, just figured out how to turn on asks yesterday so bear with me as I figure out how to answer them today.
Taliesin is, of course, my upcoming bard-who-is-emotionally-a-paladin for Nyx (formal introduction post for all of my characters coming soon).
3. How do they carry themselves around strangers? Friends/Lovers? Family?
Taliesin is an aasimar, Bearer of Light, in a world that is almost always dark, where light is feared and dangerous. He... doesn't have any family anymore, the closest thing he had to family was the Old Knight from whom he learned his oaths and his stories. Around strangers, heâs quiet and reserved, avoiding interaction if possible since most people in his experience will avoid him at best. If youâre his friend, or lover? He transforms. Bubbly, fun-loving, enthusiastic. You can Feel his enthusiasm radiating off him. He doesn't have an aura, but heâs a Bard. He inspires, fills you with confidence.
6. How does your character express that theyâre uncomfortable?
I think he probably is good at hiding his emotions, but his physical being betrays it. Heâs got light that traces his veins in his forearms and I think it probably reacts to his emotion, flaring if heâs uncomfortable or in danger, almost in the way an animal makes themself bigger to scare off predators.
37. What are some ways your character acts silly?
Heâs got a cloak of many fashions and an instrument of illusions, so I think when heâs being silly, heâll turn the cloak into some sort of either incredibly expensive-looking robe or something that looks like its been dragged through dirt for years and never been washed, then use his instrument to make illusions to make friendly fun of the people he trusts.
45. What would they never forgive themselves for?Â
Burning someone he loves.
There was no explanation, not until he heard the loud speaker. ââSquirm, really?ââ He began laughing at the announcement, Micah had never respected the devil, and he did enjoy to annoy Lucifer. Micah glanced around the classroom, noticing two others. He could sense what they were, one an angel and another a vampire. ââThe devil actually created me, so this room will only end in tragedy for the both of you.ââ His eyes turned to black for a second. ââItâs rather funny actually, Iâve been waiting to be locked in a room with one of you.ââ He stared at Nyx, a wild smirk on his face. ââLucifer didnât think this through so well, Iâm actually going to have fun.ââ He would not forget Kol, so he stated with ill intentions. ââTwoâs a party, threeâs a crowd.ââÂ
Evie kept trying to go a little too quick for her own good. If one of Klausâs spies or one of Kolâs spies were around, sheâd end up (once again) in the middle of this feud which she didnât want any part in. She was rushing out of the shop when she collided with another female. âOh Gosh, Iâm so sorry.â She rubbed the back of her neck as a nervous tick before leaning down and picking up the food to put back in to the bag.

Two assassins stood alone in a wood. Hidden in the brush, they kept their ears turned towards the south of the forest, two pairs of green eyes intently waiting for movement. Around the skydancers, snow fell in a quiet, slow way. It muffled the sounds of the forest, but the ears of the assassins were keener than most.
âI do not think-â the male began, interrupting the silence of the forest.
âQuiet.â The femaleâs voice was as cold as the air around them, intent as she was on the scene ahead.
The maleâs lips thinned, but he remained dutifully silent, keeping his gaze on the grove before them.
It wasnât long before their wait was over; whatever the pair waited for seemed to have arrived, as the fronds of a sapling began to quiver with movement. The female tensed, as if she were a feline ready to pounce, and watched the branches and tall grass part.
From the green of the grass came a female coatl, her nose flaring slightly as she, too, kept a wary eye around her. Her ivory scales blended in well with the icy white snow, and her Ice eyes told the assassins that she was very likely the dragon they were waiting for.
With a flick of her tail, the female skydancer indicated to her brother that they were to begin the maneuver, and the pair slid silently in opposite directions. Although the coatl was also a native to the Icefields, any expertise in staying silent in the snow paled in comparison to the two trained skydancers. This was more than just a familiar playground to themâit was their livelihood.
Like shadows, the pair slipped through the undergrowth until they stood on each side of the coatl. A flick of a crystalline tail from the female, and the pair melted through the trees to corner the other dragon.
To her credit, the coatl barely tensed up. The panic was in her eyes, though, and that was harder to hide. âI assume Arix sent you?â she said, her voice even and haughty. She drew her coat tight around herself, as if to get warm.
Nyx, the female skydancer, only nodded once. Slow, precise. Deadly.
âAnd did Arix tell you that youâre not the first assassins to be sent after me?â she asked next, the ridges of her brows pulling together slightly.
âHe did.â This came from the brother, Orpheus, his voice smooth and steady. Where his sister promised violent fury, he was the ice that chilled beneath their feet.
The coatl raised her chin, ever imperious. âYou expect to succeed where others have failed?â she bit out, voice scathing. âIf Arix believes himself to be Death, then I am three years past my due.â
Nyx grinned venomously at the coatl. âArix does not believe himself to be Death.â She drew close to the coatl, tail lashing behind her. âThatâs why he sent us.â
She lunged.
Two assassins waited in a hall. âHeâs late,â Nyx replied, claws tapping on the smooth stone of the floor. âHe knows weâre busy. He does this to insult us without outright doing anything.â She ground her teeth together, always quick to work herself into a rage.
Orpheus tried not to sound too exasperated when he replied, âHeâs a busy dragon, Nyx. Heâs had three attempts on his life, thanks to Janna, and now gets to know peace.â Until the next politician comes. He didnât need to add the last bitâNyx knew the game as well as he did.
She didnât reply, instead took to staring at the arched doorway that the vicar was fond of emerging from. It was a long way from his quarters, but the light coming in the from windows made it look much more impressive than the stale staircase on the other side of the hall.
Turning his gaze from his sister, and doing his best to ignore her annoyed tap-dancing, Orpheus drew his gaze up to admire the impressive murals on the stone walls of the cathedral. Depictions of the deities battling the Shade made for the ceiling, with windows stained to look like sprites enclosing them in. It was a mixture of white and splashes of colour, but the designs were quite stunning. Orpheus wasnât nearly as pious as the priests and shamans who ran the sanctuary, but he did admire the work put into worshipping the deities. During the festival, the cathedral had to look stunning.
âApologies, friends, for making you wait once more!â The vicarâs chirping voice came from down the hall and, as expected, Arix did emerge from beneath the impressive stone archway. His face was split in an unnatural smile, at least for a fae. Emotions always lookedâŚwarped on the breed.
Nyx eyed the vicar with obvious distaste, but smoothed her features into something more neutral before the smaller dragon could reach them. Ignoring his apology, she went to business. âWe have done as you ask, vicar. Janna is-â
âAnd the cathedral thanks you!â Arix interrupted, clasping his tiny talons together. âAlthough, I will remind you, that the cathedral does not necessarily know of this adventure. I implore you to take to silence.â His smile verged on becoming too forced, but Nyx only rolled her eyes.
âThis wouldnât be the first time weâve done our job quietly, vicar. If you keep silent, weâll keep silent.â
The vicar nodded, unclasping his hands and reached for the small bag tied at his waist. âYour payment, as promised.â He held it out to Nyx, but it was Orpheus who took it from him and secured it to his own waist.
âThank you,â Orpheus replied. âWe look forward to any future business with you.â
âYesâŚâ Aris replied, frowning at Orpheus. âLet us hope for moreâŚbusiness.â He glanced between the two siblings, clicked his tongue, and left as quickly as he arrived.
The pair watched him go, then turned heel to leave through the entrance. âDragons like him always manage to get on my nerves,â Nyx commented, and Orpheus found he agreed.
Oh! Sorry, I didnât mean to - Nyx? Hi! I, uh, itâs Amir. In case you forgot. Ha. Wow, whatâre you doing here? This is so random. But a good random! How are you? Howâs everything? Sorry, am I bothering?
