rewatching campaign 2 is so funny because you know somewhere in the cobalt soul there's a book about them and their adventures and fighting cognouza and being an important part in ending the war etc but you also know that there's a few pages about the time they got banned from multiple cobalt soul archives whilst trying to teleport with horses directly into their basements
Nein Again music for Episode 78: Between the Lines under the cut!
At 10:20, The Jerall Mountains from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim plays as Matt does his recap.
At about 13:10, The Farmer and the Fox from Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire plays very quietly. I'm not sure why Matt turned the music down that drastically.
At 16:05, Cloak and Dagger from The Witcher III: Wild Hunt plays as Jester floats the idea of approaching the Gentleman while disguised as her mom.
At 18:40, The Nightingale from Witcher III plays as Marion comes downstairs to join the Nein.
At 20:20, Back on the Path from Witcher III plays as Marion fetches food for Jester and Beau does an insight check.
At 23:00, The Nightingale repeats as the Nein discuss what Jester saw while scrying on Yasha, then again at 24:50 while the Nein discuss which Cobalt Soul places to visit/warn.
At 27:00, Cloak and Dagger repeats as Caleb emphasizes that the Nein need to proceed to Zadash regardless.
At 30:00, The Farmer and the Fox repeats as the players work out the cost of the riding horses and Laura deletes all her gold.
At about 33:30, Back on the Path repeats as Marion gives Jester the gold she had been saving.
At 36:10, The Nightingale repeats as Yeza ushers Luc upstairs before the Nein tell him more things.
At about 38:00, Cloak and Dagger repeats as the Nein head njorthward.
At 40:45, The Farmer and the Fox repeats as Nott non-proficiently attempts to tinker while riding on Jester's shoulders.
At 44:20, Back on the Path repeats as the Nein disguise as members of the Cobalt Soul to pass through the Wuyun Gates.
At 46:45, Cloak and Dagger as Beau lies so badly to the guards that she tells the truth and rolls badly with Persuasion instead of Deception.
At 48:30, Family Matters from The Witcher III plays as Jester uses Charm Person on the guards.
At 50:40, Night Mountain 3 from World of Warcraft plays as the Nein rush away from the highly fortified Wuyun Gates. Matt used the other variants of the same songs in recent playlists, so I timestamped this one in the compilation below.
At 51:25, Burial Isle from Pillars of Eternity plays as the Nein stop for their first night and Jester tries to scry on Yasha.
At 56:40, Night Mountain 1 from WoW plays as Beau explains that Obann's group wouldn't have reason to go to Kamordah. It's available in the Dun Morogh compilation above.
At 1:02:00, Od Nua B from PoE plays as Matt describes the unique geography of Kamordah compared to the rest of the empire.
At 1:04:50, Forest Day 2 from WoW plays as Travis asks if he can insight check the DM, then Caleb again pushes for Zadash.
At 1:10:05, Elmshore from PoE plays as Jester Sends to Beau's father while pretending to be Zeenoth.
At 1:17:15, Exodar music from WoW: The Burning Crusade plays as Beau notes that she sold her family's wine at half price.
At 1:22:20, Temple of Woedica from PoE plays as the Nein get accommodations at the Ready Room in Trostenwald.
Around 1:24:30, All Gods from PoE II: Deadfire plays as Matt relays the Trostenwald rumors regarding the war.
At 1:29:20, Emhyr Var Emreis from Witcher III plays as Jester manages to scry on Yasha again.
At 1:31:50, Night Mountain 4 from WoW plays as Jester secretly sends to Beau's dad again. It's available from the Dun Morogh compilation above.
At 1:32:45, Od Nua B repeats as Jester creeps out Thoreau.
At 1:50:25, Burial Isle repeats as the Nein decide to move on rather than seek out the marauding goblins.
At 1:52:20, Exodar music repeats as Matt describes the Nein's entry to Zadash.
At about 2:22:30, The City Gates from Skyrim plays as the Nein beeline for the Cobalt Soul after hearing the town crier's updates.
At 2:26:25, The Streets of Whiterun from Skyrim plays as Beau asks Ganache (Galesh) to fetch Zeenoth. It was overlapping with another song for some reason, but I couldn't ID the other one.
At 2:27:30, Matt skips to The White River from Skyrim as the Nein enter the infirmary and meet with Zeenoth.
At about 2:40:00, Dragonsreach from Skyrim plays as Beau does a Religion check for the Far Realm.
At 3:02:05, Masser from Skyrim plays as Matt recounts the lore about Jourrael, the Inevitable End.
At 3:08:10, Stormwind 3 from WoW plays as Jester manages to scry on Yasha again. I timestamped it in a compilation. There's many similar themes, but the Classic 3 is the same song, while the Cataclysm Stormwind 3 remixes the motifs.
At 3:12:00, Stormwind 3 replays plays as Jester does a perception check to spot the bag hanging from Obann's belt.
At about 3:17:00, Aurora from Skyrim plays as the Nein discuss how to teleport to the Lotusden Greenwood.
At 3:24:00, Masser repeats as Zeenoth agrees to let the Nein use the Cobalt Soul's teleportation circle... with horses.
At 4:02:45, Forest Day 2 repeats as Nott tries to deceive the guards heading for the alley where Caleb is drawing a circle.
That's all for this episode!
one of my absolute favourite parts of cr is not even like. a funny or important scene. they're literally just making plans for where they're going next. but every time a character joins the conversation, they then say good morning as though they've just come down for breakfast. the fjound fjamily of it all
Watching Beau's walls just FLY up the absolute second Kamordah is mentioned
like Marisha always gets so physical in her acting and you can just see her whole posture shift it's insane

obsessed with sam saying “ive never met or talked to a goth person” while sitting at the same table as taliesin who is 1) taliesin and 2) literally wearing a “we are all eventual ghosts” shirt
C2E78 hour 3-4 update: I am screech- and cry-laughing at this fucking Archive teleportation circle fiasco I-
I have mixed feelings about Beau: I really want her to be my workout buddy, but at the same time, I would be pooping my pants if she was my workout buddy.
