Apparently RickPerson has been canon in the comics since 2020 that’s nice. I mean. They made out. And Rick helped free Bird world before it even became an actual issue and accidentally became a general and helped BP with his coming-of-age storyline and then BP offered to let him travel with him, so. I can SEE why it would turn out differently here. But at the same time. Ouch. C132 was lucky. No dead family pain AND he got the boy for a while till they all broke up when Squanchy decided it’s time for a rehab stint and BP wanted to visit home??? Yeah. Lucky guy.
I’ve read a lot of the comics before but I’m out of good fics and not ready to leave RAM fandom again yet so it’s catch up on comics time again.
Okay, so
there are a lot of things I absolutely love about the Rick and Morty comics, but one of the best things has to be how Summer is confirmed, in every conceivable dimension, to be both an incredible badass, and the most dedicated big sister ever. In nearly every instance that we see of her, Summer fills some kind of leadership role, and won’t hesitate to defend Morty with her life.
Kinda the best big sister in the multiverse??? And this is literally just the tip of the iceberg-- there’s so much more I could add, but this post is dash-cloggingly long enough as it is, so I’ll end it here. Enjoy these (very abridged) cute sibling moments.

This is a real fun issue, but like the entire series is fun so I guess that’s no surprise! This is our Neko Atsume (OR NEKO ATSMORTY MORE LIKE IT NO WHAT YOU’RE A TERRIBLE PUN) inspired issue, you can’t say we don’t know when to stop lifting direct influence from video games, even those which may have slipped from the public awareness. Anyway we have a Tubby Morty, get excited.
I can’t wait to show off some more art of this series, it all feels locked away at this point, but hopefully it’ll be worth the wait. I started work on it in September last year if you can believe that, it’s been a really long process and I’m not sure how I feel about keeping so much away from public view. But anyway #1 is out in about 6 weeks from @onipress, please pre-order this series. Do it for your old pal Ellerby.
