The newest single from his debut album AQUARIA, the video for Boots’ ‘C.U.R.E.’ is a killer cut of animation reminiscent of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Aeon Flux and the videos of Gorillaz and Daft Punk. It’s a fully immersive three and a half minutes full of gritty cyberpunk and futuristic visuals, which suits the track’s industrialised thump, scratchy guitars and woozing, swaggering percussive hits, giving the narrative a certain hint of menace.
