He'd tried to keep his distance from the she-wolf out of respect for her and whatever her relationship with the other male was but it was proving difficult to do so, needing her in his life even just as a friend more than he initially thought and while he may have confessed to her that he was in love at the carnival, he wasn't about to let that get in the way of their friendship. It was her decision, it was out there now and she could do with it what she wanted but the one thing he wouldn't have is Gabi getting her heartbroken and so he had done his research, learned what he could about the witch/hunter and ultimately had concluded that he didn't like nor trust the witch. It was almost instantaneous, his reaction the second the other male came into view. Vampire speed brought him in front of the male with in milliseconds, digits wrapping around the cloth of the other's short before forcibly shoving him back into the nearby wall all while keeping his grip. "You know who killed her sister," Xavier confronts. "Don't you?"

She shouldn't have been looking for the male and yet, for some reason, she had found herself outside of Matthias's home, standing at the door waiting for an answer that didn't come. The sound of a vehicle pulling up into the drive pulled her attention, glancing over her shoulder to find who she assumed was his roommate and a faint smile tugged to her lips as she gave a slight wave. "Hi, sorry, I was just looking for Matty but I guess he's not home," Skyla admits, glancing over her shoulder at the front door before cerulean irises returned to the ridiculously tall male. "Could you just, uh, let him know that Skyla was looking for him?"

"So you and that Gabi chick," Oaklee muses, a questioning undertone to her words as she plops down beside him on his couch, feet lifting to rest atop the coffee table. "That serious or...? Cause boy if you make another fumble I swear I might actually have to cut you off from the dating scene."

"I'm not a walking ATM," Casper grumbles under his breath, even as he digs his wallet from his pocket and passes a wad of cash to his son. "You know you could just work the bar if you really wanted to earn your own wages."

Digits tap impatiently against the bar top, dark irises glancing around the crowded bar as she sipped at the dirty martini that had been placed in front of her. She had managed to track down a pair of witches she thought would be up for her simple request, both seeming easily swayed or even bought off and both seemed to toe a line of good and bad. Extensive research had been done, not wanting to risk any small hiccups and as they came into view digits stilled, flattening against the bar. "About time you showed up," Raquel mused, brow perking upwards. "Thought I told you to meet me here about half an hour ago."

“I did mean it, I do meant it, and you won’t be changing my mind either,” Wesley retorted. “It’s either you or me. Our sisters can make their choices but myself and my family will not be attending any family event where you are in attendance.”
