TOM: thought i should text and tell you i think the date went pretty well, to my fucking surprise.

When Violet texted him, asking to meet up for coffee-- Donny knew exactly what she was going to do. Of course she heard about him knocking out two men at the bar last night, both ending in the hospital. Of course she heard that he bolted and he lead the cops on a goose chase. And of course no one would rat on him. He wasn’t worried about that. He was more worried about the new one Violet was about to rip him. They had a good thing going, but sometimes he didn’t make it easy on her. His head snapped as she walked into the cafe, meeting eye contact with her. “You good, boss?” He called. He’d grown to call her boss since she defiantly carried that persona.

Going on a road trip with a friend and having the music blasting and just feeling like she had no cares in the world, that was something Dahlia always secretly dreamed of doing and here she was doing it. She let out a happy whoop as Violet took a curve a little sharply, laughing spilling from her lips as their hair whipped around their faces, the top to Violet’s bug down so they could enjoy the sun and the fresh English air. “Hey! There’s a little town coming up if we want to make a pit stop!” She called over the wind and music looking at her phone to check the map. “Least I think that’s what this says, wait a minute.” She called, flipping her phone back and forth, trying to make sure it was correct.
