Wyn raised his eyebrows at his brother, slightly surprised to see him alone. "Are you here by yourself? What? Did Mom and Dad not set you up with someone for this formal event? I'm surprised. Speaking of them, we might want to keep this brief unless you want to inevitably hear it from them about how I'm a disgrace, and also you should tell me of their location so I can also inevitably avoid them." He still felt the sting of their words when they first found out about him, the shame he felt about who he was now, what he still feels.

Wyn was working on an extension at the Northknot Tribune's building. He was walking through the halls, doing some measurements to verify the current blueprint he had. That's when Wyn had seen his mother, and in a panic, he slipped into the closest open room, a supply closet, closing the door behind him. Not his smartest move. After waiting a moment, he assumed his mother had passed, he tugged on the doorknob to find it stuck. "Great job Wyn," he muttered at himself, and heard a noise behind him. He turned abruptly, jumping. "Uh... hi."

Wyn wasn't sure how to go about this with Astoria. When he left, he left her too. It took him a long time to put aside that she had been the one to turn him, and there were parts of him that wasn't even sure he accepted it fully, his life crumbled after that, but he knew that Astoria's intentions were in the right place. Wyn gave a small smile when he saw her. "Please tell me you're not going to punch me in the face."

Only a couple days prior, Wyn had returned to Northknot, getting his own apartment, and trying to forget everything that had happened over the last few years, especially the last few months. Wyn was getting a coffee when he saw his brother. He thought about leaving quickly, but just as he thought it, he made eye contact with his eldest brother. "Theo," he said simply, when close enough.

Wyn wasn't sure how to react when he saw Miles again. Even though he heard that Miles returned while Wyn was away, he hadn't been ready to go back to Northknot at the time. He wondered if Miles would hate him, not only for staying away, but for what he had become. Everyone else did, and maybe part of Wyn hated himself too still. He managed to get Miles' address from Liv, who seemed pretty weird about Miles even being brought up, but Wyn only thought it might be a bad idea when the door opened. "Sorry, I uh... I shouldn't be here. You probably don't want to see me."

Wyn raised his eyebrows at his brother. "Do I even want to know what you're trying to do up there?" he asked. "You know, I love you, but we both know you're not the most coordinated."

"Dammit," Wyn said, slamming the phone down in frustration. "Why is it so hard to do one simple thing? I've been on five phone calls to try and fix the fact that this company delivered the wrong type of windows. Now they're refusing to take them back and switch it, even though the weight of the new ones will collapse the entire thing."
