"The kiddo is in bed,” Taryn said as she entered the kitchen and smiled at the woman. She’d been nannying for the family for almost six months and adored the child, but she also adored their mother. Taryn could tell things weren’t great with her husband and Taryn wanted to take her away from it all, wanted to show her that maybe they could be a family. Taryn just wanted her husband out of the picture. “What can I do for you? You’re upset and it kills me. I know I’m just the nanny but I think we’re friends too. I just want to make your life easy.”
