It had been late when Harley finally decided he’d had enough running. He wasn’t floating in the clouds so much anymore, the repetition of the track for lap after lap had dulled the urgency the oracle had given him with her vision. Of course without all that extra energy, he could get lost in other thoughts- like worrying about classes. With a sigh he mashed his thumb into the 10 and leaned against the wall. His stomach swooped and he couldn’t help but smile at memories of rollercoasters. The doors dinged open and he blinked in confusion.
Had someone changed his room while he was gone? Everything was so much darker- had the sunlight really made that much of a difference? “Weird,” he muttered before shrugging and kicking off his shoes. But then he turned back to the rest of the penthouse and realied he wasn’t alone. “Hawk? What are you doing here?” Had he been waiting for Harley to get back- but he hadn’t said anything earlier...
