‘‘Are you still here?’‘ He had gone to the grill to get a coffee only to find Gen there. She had drunk text him some time ago, days ago, and he would have checked in on her but something had came up at the time. ‘’I thought Shawn was the only alcoholic in my life.’’ Clearly not. ‘’Those texts were....interesting.’’ He hadn’t thought into it, whatever Gen had said, he was sure Dean was perfectly fine. He didn’t know the guy enough to know, and Gen was drunk at the time of those texts, so, he hadn’t needed to.

 Mateo had been out walking Shadow, he planned to go straight home after but when spotted Gen he felt it necessary to check in on her.  Even if he wanted to turn around, save himself from her prying questions, he didn’t. ‘‘Yo.’‘ He called out, walking up to her. ‘’You all good? Sam? The baby?’’ Mateo was sure Spencer would have checked up on them all but since they were her friends, he had to be sure they were okay. ‘’Mystic Falls has a whole different meaning for wild night out.’’ But he was sure whatever had done that, was not any alcohol. ‘’I told Spencer at your wedding. I don’t do those events. You know how difficult it is to say no to her?’’ Because he struggled. ‘’We had a good time. Halloween? Not so much.’’ He was not sure anyone did on that night. ‘’You have to help me out here.’’ Mateo wondered if Gen could help with ideas. ‘’Does she enjoy anything other than hosting a party?’’

Ivy had been made aware of a visitor in Dean’s room so on her rounds, she made sure to stop by. “Oh, hey.” It was fair to say she wasn’t expecting Gen to be in the room. “I was just coming to check on the patient.”

Before the sun came up Dominic had found somewhere out of town, a house that was for safe. Finding somewhere abandoned was too obvious or to him it was, not that he was a professional in the kidnapping business. He tied Gen down, as best he could, just to be sure she didn’t try make a run for it when she woke up. He still didn’t really know what he was doing. He had ideas in his head, but he couldn’t quite make them work properly. Things were going to be a lot more difficult now considering he lost his daylight ring. What he thought was going to be a team effort, just turned into something he had to do solo. This would have been a lot easier if he wasn’t a vampire. He decided to sink his fangs into Gen’s neck, but, when he  did, he quickly spat out the blood, not agreeing to the taste of the vervain she had in her system. ‘’For fuck sake.’’ He growled. As if things couldn’t get any more complicated. He obviously couldn’t compel her if she been drinking vervain. Seeing as he was still waiting for Gen to wake up, he started going through Gen’s phone, before he decided to text Sam though soon after he heard Gen starting to stir, so, he pointed the gun in his hand towards her. ‘’It’s a shame it’s not your wedding day.’’
