Daxton was someone who believed in balance, his little brother has had a bad day and so he decided to stop by Seaside Sweets after work to get some sweet goods for all of them. He that sweets really helped his siblings on bad days. Growing up, he always thought about how his older brother will always get both him and them something street when it felt like they would break due to all the weight they had to carry. He had walked in and smiled when he saw. Gale and Klaus. The bartender becoming good friends with Gale and also being hard of hearing it was nice to communicate with people that speak ASL.

Alec got up a little too quickly from his desk in his office at the studio. He had spent most of the day working on paperwork since he hadn't been feeling well that week. He caught himself on his desk after he stumbled slightly. He took a deep breath, hearing someone at the door, he looked up to see Gale. He hoped that Gale hadn't seen that. "Hey, I uh," he stuttered out. "What are you doing here?"

"I would call myself a ice queen in some ways but this is cold even for me. Do they have any of those outdoor heaters near here?" Everleigh asked as she rubbed her hands together. "I want the fresh air with the comfort of a cosy fire."

"You are someone I haven't celebrated with tonight and I fully intend to rectify that situation." Bes piped up as he produced a bottle of champagne. "You up to it?" He asked with a bright smile, popping the cork before Gale could answer.

Max was sitting out in the sitting room with her roommate, doing her makeup for the events that were happening for New Year's Eve. "Do you have any resolutions for 2029?" Max asked.

Rohan needed to take a break, the detective had been working hard and he knew when he found himself start getting distracted and looking at his phone over and over it was a time he needed to step away. He had not realize how early. The sun was already coming up and he heard his dog walk into the room, wagging his tail basically telling him it was time for breakfast. The detective got up, stretching for a moment before petting Ace and walking out to put out some food for Ace before walking back to his bedroom to change and head out for a run.
