Byonoisegenerator are set to make a splash again after seven long years with a new album of what they'd like to call “jazzgrind” that sounds just as shocking and exhilarating as you would imagine. It's the kind of album that compels us to see things from a different perspective. While jazz influences and usage of a saxophone in extreme music has been witnessed before, it’s hardly ever done with a style of music this extreme and cathartic. The dedicated sax player infuses the violent music with jazzy parts that not only serve as a break from the cacophony but they also punctuate the music, enhance it, and elevate it from your regular grind or death metal band. The music is highly intricate, even technical, and despite the short length of the songs, it might require multiple listens for it to be fully deciphered and for the unsuspecting listeners to get its odd appeal.
