A fantastic ‘please-all’ menu that combines substantial meals – from stone-baked pizzas to curries, pasta and kedgeree, sharing platters and grazing dishes include local cheeses and seafood. Our table was in the cosy front room overlooking the street. Service was great, warm and welcoming. Particularly enjoyed the Byfords duo of beef (Slow-cooked brisket pudding, seared rump steak, roasted root vegetables, onion marmalade & red wine gravy) and Kedgeree (Cley smoked haddock, rice, prawns, mixed spiced cream & poached egg) A pleasant evening and a fitting end to our holiday.
