Hinata looks over his shoulder at Tobio on his bike. He looks amazing, hair almost matching the sky behind him. Tobio is thinking about something to say when a rumbly little truck putters around the bend in the road. Tobio scoots his bike close to Hinata in the shoulder, tall grass tickling his legs. They wave at the driver, who beep-beeps at them before disappearing down the road where they’re headed next. Tobio pulls his leg up to tap his bike pedal forward, but then Hinata’s fingers are resting on his forearm. Tobio smiles a little, leaning down and kissing him. “Okay, now let’s go,” Hinata says after a moment. “Just had to do that first. Wanted to do it for a while. Every time I come up here I think about it.”

*cracks back* this took forever but it’s finally done!!!! I skipped the part with the truck driver tho haha...

I tried to capture Hinata from Tobio-O-vision™, but since I’m even shorter than Hinata IRL I’m not very used to looking down at people (lel). I did what I could ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

hmmm that’s a good question actually!!

@esselley and @byesweetheart and @mysecretfanmoments and @someone-stole-my-shoes all write some stellar kagehina, but we’ve all tended to wander into NSFW eventually as writers. Some more often than others. And it’s all really good writing! Most of my drabbles are usually SFW only because they’re more about specific events, moments, or character interactions (or they’re just giant memes, also good). My longer stuff tends to veer towards NSFW as the relationship continues/intensifies. But! The same may or may not be true for other writers. It all depends on who you go to/what their tastes are.

I think it’s up to you as a reader to explore! Find writers you like, see what kind of stuff they post. You can always blacklist tags, writers are pretty good about tagging NSFW stuff. But I don’t want to speak for any other writer. All our styles are different. All are good. And if we crash and burn into the pits of porn, then that’s our prerogative too lol.
