Malcolm drove his old beater up the long circular driveway to the Eldridge mansion. The house was the only one in town bigger than the Starkman house and somehow he felt kind of comfortable with the idea of being here despite the fact that his car looked like shit and his clothes were too big for his tiny frame; it felt weirdly like home. He made his way up the staircase to the door and knocked, not sure if River would be able to hear it in there, but trying anyway.
