it’s one of those days- quiet and relaxed in the station. hardly any calls came in and if there was, it was a simple one-man job so there were still quite a few of them milling about until it was time to lock up. jaewoo scrolls through his phone before letting out a groan and leaning back in his chair, exaggerating his motions and ‘accidentally’ nudging yeoreum with his arm. “ oops~ my bad. ” a teasing grin on his lips, eyes squinting to show his jovial attitude. “ quiet, huh? your girl not visiting today? ”

cassidy peers at them, moving to sit across from the other while sliding a warm styrofoam cup their way. nursing his own cup, the young man cocks his head to the side, brows pulling together in concern.

One shouldn’t even ask how scum alike Woojin got a spot on the local Seoul police’s department and neither to expect much of him out of this. Just because they gave him a chance to get his life straight, it didn’t mean he would take his chance, glue on chicken feathers by his back and all of a sudden turn into a good man that followed the law and would leave any pair of legs covered by a skirt to exist without his eyes praying onto their meat alike a predator looking for his next prey. It just wouldn’t happen.

What did happen was that instead of doing his work load, he usually would just leave that for any loser that stupidly took it with the offer of any broken promises he could come up to tell them at the moment and then would make his way around the place, till he found things more interesting to do. You guessed it -- A pair of meaty legs. In or out of skirts.

“Finished work, fancy some coffee with me, lady boss?” The blonde pulled on his tie to loosen it up as he rested his side by the frame of the door he came through and smirked at the female, the same time he also didn’t had any shame to check her out whatsoever. 

“I did? What?” Kai looked a bit shocked but let out a chuckle. “I’m really curious!”

he was getting ready to leave for the station, changing into his usual black shirt and pants in the bedroom while she made breakfast. she wanted to know if he’d like any coffee with his food, not even bothering to knock before entering the room since it was her home, after all. “ do you want coffee with you- ” the sentence didn’t get very far as the words die down on her lips, eyes taking in his bare body and a light blush rises to her cheeks. “ oops, sorry~ ” is she really, though? areum chuckles softly and shrugs, stepping further into the room to wrap her arms around him. “ did you want coffee with your breakfast? ”

It had been another late night working at the motel but it was nothing she wasn't already used to. Customers had come and go with the same expression on their faces she had seen for the past ten years or so; as if they were doing something disgusting and they were afraid of getting caught by their husband or wife or significant other. It had never been amusing or entertaining for her. She didn't like people nor did she understand them.

Just like she didn't understand herself. Because the second she was back in her bedroom, she pulled her phone out of her grey hoodie's pocket and pressed her finger to the Tinder app she was keeping for only one person. She hadn't had many matches and the few she had were less than interesting, except for that one girl she had been conversing with for the past few weeks.
