So long 2013, on to 2014
I know January is almost up and yet I'm still writing this but who cares?Â
The year 2013 had been really good to me. I am very thankful and blessed all throughout. In just one year, a lot of things happened, as if my life is in a whirlwind. Everything happened so fast, I wasn't actually able to catch up in time. January I was still a student, trying my best to be able to finish all my requirements, all the paper works that are supposed to be turned in the morning after. On march, I finally graduated! After all those years of hard work, sacrifices( mine and my parents of course) and I am about to enter the adult work a.k.a. FIND A JOB. But of course, since I am a nursing graduate, I have to get a license before I can even start to push through  with my career. So I went on a review camp, for about a month and a half and finally took my board exams on June. Since all throughout college, I was used to being busy every time and can't sit still. I went to look for a job just 2 weeks after my board exam and viola, I was hired. I got my first job ever. I worked as a call center agent. Truth be told, I wasn't really planning to apply there. I was planning to go for a medical representative position since it is more related to my  course but nope, that didn't happen. With a couple of friends and not taking anything seriously, we ventured to the city and tried to apply and luckily, I was hired. I was ecstatic! Although I don't have the least knowledge of what to do as a customer service representative except to answer calls. Nonetheless, I was happy. I met new friends, which may I say are the coolest people ever. Most of my wave mates in training are about my age so we hit it off pretty well.
Flash forward, it's been six months  and I am finally a regular employee in the company but I haven't forgotten my original intention. I wanted to go back to pursue my nursing career. Most of my wave mates are no longer in the company as well. My original team was dispersed and I don't like the new one that I was in. Or maybe it was because I just miss my old friends. So around December 19, I had passed my resignation. I still need to render a 30 days before it become official so yeah. I spent Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve at the office (I know, it sucks.) but good vibes! I won at a raffle in the office on New Year's Eve so yeah. But let me make things clear. I never, ever regret my decision. I met a lot of awesome people, learned new things. It was a blessing. And I know I will forever be thankful to that company.
Right now, I'm trying to focus in starting my career, officially. I'm looking forward to this year. I need a couple of training before I can actually apply for a staff nurse position but yeah, all is well. Wish me luck!
